HOW I FOUND MY JAM - Shauna

It all started when I found a dusty, acoustic guitar when exploring the depth of my grandparent's old shed one day. As a little 9 year old I was oblivious to the fact that it was very out-of-tune, had 3 broken strings & was hollow with spider webs because I fell in love with it anyway. I was so fascinated by the mysterious instrument that I had no idea how to use. Yet it wasn’t long till I drove my parents mad trying to figure it out.

By the age of 10, I taught myself chords on a new guitar & how to sing- I found a new world. A world that quickly became second nature. I even wrote a book full of original songs of my own… although only a couple were ever half decent. However, I rarely took my new-found talent past my bedroom door.

Fast forward a couple years, I’m 17 years old & while I still hold the very same interest & passion for music, I finally want to share my music with others. This is why I joined the band ‘DUSTY RECORDS’.
